A person dies three times. First, when their body fails. Second, when they are buried. The last death comes when no one speaks their name. We push back against that final death—because a name unspoken is a life forgotten.
History isn’t just made by generals and presidents. It’s made by ordinary people who did their jobs, fought their wars, and went home if they were lucky. Some never did. Their names fade. Their stories get lost. But they mattered.
At Vestiges of History, we find those stories and tell them. We dig through artifacts, old letters, and forgotten records to bring them back into focus. They were here. They had lives, just like us. And if we don’t remember them, who will?

Historic Asset Research Services:

HARS is a historical research contractor that performs research and consulting in the historic preservation and real estate asset space.
HARS contracted with the Floral Park Neighborhood Assn. and successfully placed the neighborhood on the National Register of Historica Places, nearly 650 homes have been preserved in this district, the third in the City of Santa Ana and the first since 1999.
